WORCESTER – About 36 percent of Worcester’s 2,050 entrepreneurs were born outside the United States, according to a new report from a local public policy research group.
The Research Bureau said the city’s foreign-born entrepreneurs also own their own incorporated businesses at a higher rate than native-born entrepreneurs.
The report was based on U.S. Census Bureau data and was developed with the Worcester Business Journal, a business publication that published a number of stories about Worcester’s foreign-born population on Monday.
