WORCESTER — City leaders say there is a lot of confusion and concern about Ebola, particularly its potential impact if a case were to be confirmed locally. They want the community to know the facts.
The Worcester Regional Research Bureau is hosting a panel discussion from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday on “Public Health in the News: Central Massachusetts and the Ebola Crisis” to share what medical professional know about the disease, how the region would handle local cases if they occur and what the epidemic means to a diverse community.
The program will be held in the Junior Ballroom of the DCU Center in Worcester.
