WORCESTER — Accurate, balanced information may be the best medicine against Ebola hysteria, a panel of medical and cultural experts hosted by the Worcester Regional Research Bureau told a public audience Thursday.
Some 20 people attended the event, “Public Health in the News: Central Massachusetts and the Ebola Crisis,” held in the DCU Center’s junior ballroom.
Dr. Michael P. Hirsh, medical director of the Worcester Department of Public Health and pediatric surgeon-in-chief at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center, served as the panel moderator.
