WORCESTER — When choosing a place to live after graduation, the city’s college students have a clear priority, one that’s not surprising given the debt many have racked up during their studies.
They plan to go where they see the best job opportunities and career prospects, according to a survey released this week by the Worcester Regional Research Bureau.
“With the debt load, they need income. Finding that place where they can have a job and a career path is critical for them. We want to make sure Worcester is one of those places,” said Timothy J. McGourthy, executive director of The Research Bureau.
