Report: ‘Disastrous effects’ predicted for any host city
BOSTON — The CEO of the Chicago-based gaming company considering a slot machine casino in Worcester has run into delays in kicking off a formal review of the proposal, while local officials and some opponents are gearing up to debate the plans.
Greg Carlin, CEO of Rush Street Gaming, had planned to visit Worcester this week, and to announce the site chosen for a $200 million hotel and casino in a bid for the sole slot parlor license offered by the state.
