WORCESTER – Valedictorians from Worcester public schools provided some insight Monday into what it takes to become a top-performing student, as well as gave advice on what the school system could be doing better to help.
Four students – three seniors and one recent graduate now in her freshman year of college – joined a panel moderated by Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s dean of admissions and financial aid, Andrew Palumbo, at Worcester Technical High School to talk about their experience in the city schools. The event was presented by the Worcester Regional Research Bureau and Worcester Education Collaborative in partnership with the school district.
