WORCESTER – The Worcester Regional Research Bureau and Worcester Education Collaborative are scheduled to present on Wednesday a joint report on the district’s upcoming superintendent search.
The 14-page document, which the organizations planned to release at a forum in the Fuller Conference Center at MCPHS University’s 25 Foster St. building at 7:45 a.m., doesn’t suggest a specific candidate, but recommends the district undertake a comprehensive evaluation of the schools to facilitate leadership transition.
“The city has an opportunity to engage in a detailed review of where we are, what works and what does not, and what should be done to stabilize and improve the schools so that they compete as the education institutions of choice for all residents,” the report says.
