WORCESTER – The Worcester Regional Research Bureau on Wednesday announced the 2023 recipients of the Thomas S. Green Public Service Awards in recognition of exceptional work by civic employees in the Worcester area.
To be considered for the award, employees must demonstrate exceptional competence in their responsibilities and carry them out with enthusiasm, while maintaining a helpful and positive attitude with co-workers and the public. Lastly, they must show community involvement outside the workplace.
This year, the five recipients are James Brooks, Jacquelyn Burmeister, Brenda Colon, Scott Stark and Evis Terpollari.
“It is an honor to recognize them for their contributions to Worcester and to Shrewsbury,” said Research Bureau Executive Director and CEO Paul Matthews, “Our communities are stronger because of individuals like them.”
